Local Design Firm Wins Big at
Sacramento ADDY Awards
Sacramento, CA [4/7/09] – Wiley Design Communications,
Inc. launches 2009 with four ADDY wins – three silver
and one gold.
The ADDY Awards, sponsored by the Sacramento Advertising
Federation, has long been considered the industry’s
most representative competition and recognizes creative excellence.
“We are very proud of these awards,” says Jean
Wiley, president of Wiley Design Communications. “For
us, they reflect our success in connecting our clients to
their customers in a way that delivers results, as seen by
these ADDY wins and our clients’ bottom line.”
As an example, California Department of Water Resources’
Border Governors Conference Report, the recipient of the Gold
Addy, made an impact beyond its original release at the Governors
Conference. It was further distributed at other DWR water
industry conferences [Association of California Water Agencies,
Colorado River Water Users Assoc.] and at Science Conferences
[American Geophysical Union, American Meteorological Society].
In addition, the University of Arizona, which provided source
information for the report, requested several hundred for
teaching and educational reference.
“We pride ourselves on effectively translating a business’
message to connect with their customers,” said Wiley.
“In this difficult economic climate, doing business
as usual doesn’t cut it anymore, and it’s more
important than ever to connect with customers quickly and
efficiently.”
In addition to the gold ADDY Award for the Border Governors
Conference Report, Wiley Design Communications also won a
silver ADDY Award for the American Cancer Society’s
Annual Report, a silver ADDY Award for a publication series
for EdFund, and a silver ADDY for Robert Olson Associates’
Website development.
