BACKGROUND
Jean Wiley, Principal
and Design Director
As principal and design director of Wiley Design, Jean is
an integral part of the marketing team. She is responsible
for analyzing clients needs, understanding business goals,
marketing objectives and concept development. All creative
development is approached from the client’s strategic
marketing objectives.
Jean
served as President and past Board of Directors for the American
Marketing Association. She is also a past Board of Director
for the International Association of Business Communicators
(IABC), the Sacramento Advertising Club and the Art Directors
and Artists Club (ADAC). She has been a guest lecturer at
American Marketing Association Chicago, California State University
Sacramento, California State University Chico, UC Davis Extension,
and the ADAC Business Workshops.
Design awards have been received from AIGA, Graphic Design:
USA Magazine, HOW Magazine, Print Magazine, Printing Industries
of America (PIA), the Sacramento Advertising Club, and IABC
as well as national awards from Strathmore, Neenah, Curtis
and Beckett paper companies.
Jean’s education includes the Graphic Design Program
Santa Monica College and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American
Studies, Cum Laude, University of California, Los Angeles.
In addition, Jean is a grape grower and owner of Shooting
Star Vineyard in El Dorado County.
